Welcome to Maryland. We have too hot, too cold, and flares.

This week has been oddly hot for June. We hit 100 for the first time much earlier than normal. There’s been SUPER high pressure and because it’s hot as fuck, everyone and everything is made of air conditioning.

EVERYTHING hurts. Fucking everything. It started sometime Friday when I had a fairly strong allergy attack to something in the office. I spent a few hours with an itchy mouth and throat, and then suddenly I felt life I’d snorted pieces of broken glass. I still feel like that.

One of the fun things about fibro is that for me, an allergy attack means a flare. The stronger the attack, the stronger the flare. Long story short, I’ve spent the weekend feeling like I have the flu, including all of the aches and pains that go with it.

So now my entire torso is sore and stiff. My hips ache. My hands ache.

Yeah. This isn’t spring. I miss spring. Fuck off, fibro.
